MARGOT'S

Some places don’t just serve food, they create a feeling.

Margot’s is one of those rare brunch spots where everything comes together effortlessly: the atmosphere, the flavours, the music, and the people.

From the moment we arrived, the energy felt relaxed and inviting. The space is cozy and thoughtfully designed, the kind of place that encourages long conversations and unhurried mornings. When we visited, cool 90s hip-hop played softly in the background, adding an unexpected but perfect touch, nostalgic, confident, and effortlessly cool.

The menu is American-inspired, comforting without being heavy, and made with clear attention to quality. Every dish we tried was beautifully executed, but the pancakes deserve a special mention. Light, fluffy, and perfectly balanced, they’re the kind of pancakes you think about days later, the kind that turn a simple brunch into a memory.

And let’s talk about the croissants, because they deserve their own moment.

A Las Chicas brunch review

We tried The Benedict Classic and Benedict V-Eggs (the vegetarian version), both served on buttery, flaky croissants that were honestly hard to beat. Golden on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly balanced with the toppings, they’re the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after brunch is over. Choosing what to order was genuinely difficult; the menu is packed with tempting options, from pancakes to savoury classics, but the croissant benedicts were an absolute standout and a must-try.

Behind Margot’s is an Italian couple, and the café is named after their baby girl, Margot, a detail that feels woven into the soul of the place. You can sense that this is more than a business; it’s personal. The service is warm, genuine, and unpretentious, making you feel welcome whether you’re there for the first time or a regular.

Margot’s is the kind of spot you return to again and again, for brunch dates, slow weekends, or casual meet-ups with friends. It’s familiar but never boring, stylish without trying too hard, and always comforting.

A place that understands that good food, good music, and good company are sometimes all you really need.
